This is one of those chia seed recipes I was talking about earlier. Easy to make, low fat, high fiber, nutritional and SOOOO GOOD!!!
This is the pack of chia seeds I purchased at my local Kroger in the Natural Foods section. This 12oz bag costs $4.79. You may be able to find them even cheaper, I’m sure. But for $4.79, this bag should last a very long time. I will be sharing recipes that have chia seeds. For this particular recipe you’ll need about 1 1/2 tablespoon of chia seeds.
You’ll need milk, yogurt, chia seeds, fruit, oats, a mason jar with a lid
Shake and put it in the fridge overnight. Eat cold. Great to take to work!
p.s. when you put it in the fridge it’s a watery mess. But in the morning, it thickens into an oatmeal and it’s awesome!
