Refrigerator Oatmeal

This is one of those chia seed recipes I was talking about earlier.   Easy to make, low fat, high fiber, nutritional and SOOOO GOOD!!!

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERAThis is the pack of chia seeds I purchased at my local Kroger in the Natural Foods section.  This 12oz bag costs $4.79.   You may be able to find them even cheaper, I’m sure. But for $4.79, this bag should last a very long time.  I will be sharing recipes that have chia seeds.  For this particular recipe you’ll need about 1 1/2 tablespoon of chia seeds.
You’ll need milk, yogurt, chia seeds, fruit, oats, a mason jar with a lid

Add milk, yogurt, chia seeds and oats to your mason jar.    Put on the lid and shake:)

Remove the lid and add your fruit, honey, granola, etc! SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA

Shake and put it in the fridge overnight.  Eat cold.  Great to take to work!

p.s.  when you put it in the fridge it’s a watery mess.  But in the morning, it thickens into an oatmeal and it’s awesome!
