Your Lent Meals

For my Catholic friends; Lent is here!   It’s like it shows up every year.
I love it, I look forward to it but yet, I do not have a hubby that likes seafood so he makes it a bit difficult……
Here are a few suggestions.  I’m sure I’ve come up with nothing that you haven’t already thought of, but who knows?  I may give you a couple of ideas.  If you have any ideas for me, I sure would love them!

  • cheese quesidillas – serve with salsa and sour cream
  • spaghetti, sauce, garlic bread (no meatballs)
  • tomato soup and grilled cheese
  • Fish sammys and fries
  • Local Friday Fish Frys
  • Cheese Ravioli with Alfredo Sauce
  • Baked fish and veggies
  • Veggie burgers and fries
  • Tuna noodle casserole
  • Homemade veggie soup (no beef) grilled cheese
  • sushi
  • Meatless pizza  (mushrooms, cheese, olives, pineapples, tomatoes, etc)
  • Sloppy spaghetti (ask for the recipe, it’s awesome!)
  • shrimp pasta
  • tuna salad in pita with a side of chips
  • Cheese stuffed shells
  • Baked potato and salad
  • veggies-1
